On arrival to Keflavik International Airport, your inclusive transfer will take you to our accommodation in Reykjavik. After settling in, we will explore downtown Reykjavík and take in the city’s history and culture. For all you foodies, this will include visiting Hlemmur Food Hall which will be lined with the finest Christmas goodies and mulled wine. 

In the evening, get ready to search for the otherworldly northern lights. With a knowledgable local guide, we will visit some of the best spots to hopefully view the white, green and sometimes red dancing lights in the sky. 

We do the Northern Lights Tour on the first day to optimise the chances of a sighting during the trip. Should it be cancelled due to adverse weather we can rebook later during our trip. We do everything we can to try and see the northern lights, however they are a natural phenomenon so if we are not lucky enough to see them, guests are not entitled to a refund. 

In the morning, you are free to explore Reykjavik. You can stroll the charming capital city, visit museums and landmarks, or feast at numerous cafes, coffeehouses, bars and restaurants.

Later in the day, we will be picked up for a visit to the famous Blue Lagoon. Discover the wonder of the relaxing geothermal pool, whilst your skin is soothed with the rich silica content. Take in the unique surroundings and keep an eye out for the Northern Lights. 

Today, will be filled with sightseeing and adventure! We will visit some of Iceland’s most famous attractions as we take a tour of the ‘Golden Circle’. One of many highlights will be the Pingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its exceptional beauty and historical importance. You will marvel at the fascinating geysers, waterfalls and gorges. 

Are you ready for our exhilarating snowmobile tour? You’ve not experienced it fully until you hit the ice at high speed! The view from this location is breathtaking and will certainly be a bucket list experience for you. 

After an adventure filled day yesterday, have the morning at your leisure. Alpine wooden huts, Christmas lights twinkling above, and an ice rink in between the perfect Christmas picture! This afternoon we will explore one of Iceland’s most classic Christmas markets. This is your opportunity to purchase unique Christmas gifts, feast on Icelandic wintery treats and even take to the ice rink if you wish. What more do you need to get you in the Christmas spirit!
